Jr. Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: $35,000-$45,000

Job Requirements:

Work closely with engineering to ensure new machine launches go efficiently.
Provide engineering support throughout the manufacturing facility.
Works with production in the fabrication of unique advanced parts.
Programming of robots to be more efficient and complete various tasks.
Design, test and build unique and job specific fixtures and components.
Design/build any required pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
PLC programming as well as servo drive interaction with controller.
Sensor selection, wiring and calibration for various automated cells.
Engineering support in product development & design for new custom components.

Job Qualification:

Oversee production efficiencies on advanced machines.
Gripper and end effector design for various automated cells, design / test and validate.
Troubleshoot machinery and perform maintenance tasks as required.
Purchase components or tooling under some circumstances if needed.
Use Solid Works to complete 3D models, 2D drawings and assemblies of new designs.
Update, create or change production drawings as required.
Organize and maintain electronic files of archived and current drawings.
