Requirements for EAP

Different university’s EAP have different requirement, the language test score will influence your study time in EAP. After you finish the score and pass the exam, you will be able to graduate from EAP.

Here is an EAP requirement example from one university in Canada:

To be eligible to enter Advanced EAP directly, you have to do at least one of the following:

  • Submit proof of an overall IELTS (Academic) Band score of 6.0 with no IELTS Band score less than 5.0,
  • Submit proof of a TOEFL Paper score of 525 or a TOEFL iBT score of 70 with no skill below 17, or
  • Submit proof of a CAEL score of 50.
