About The Role

You’ll be responsible for providing research support to consulting teams worldwide looking at the Chinese market. Also, you’ll have to articulate, scope, and prioritize research needs, and identify and gather relevant company, industry, and economic information using a broad spectrum of appropriate sources. Further, you’ll be in charge of conducting interviews with regulators and companies and sharing insights and providing synthesis, insight, and practical implications within tight deadlines, via end products in the form of single exhibits, written summaries, basic fact packs, and spreadsheets. Serve as a thought partner, you’ll also have the chance to leverage internal and external networks, engage in team problem solving, share evolving business trends and best practices, and contribute to knowledge creation initiatives.


EXPECTED CREDENTIALS
– Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
– Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Media and Design/ Economics/ Management/ MBA (with strong quantitative background)
– 1-6 years working experience in marketing-related functions
– Solid understanding of New Retail and Digitalization related knowledge, such as digital marketing and sales, digital operation and supply chain as well as economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
– Experience in conducting business or academic research
– Comprehensive computer skills including database searching, PowerPoint, word processing, spreadsheet analysis and online research
– Good people skills, team orientation, and professional
– Modeling techniques to handle data in large volumes
– Statistical programming software experience would be a plus.
