Full Cycle Accountant

Location: Markham

position:  Full time

Salary: $45k/year

Job requirements:

1-Oversee all facets of the financial accounting systems for the company. Perform month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and overhead cost allocations.

2-Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly commissions and employee expenses.

3-Complete month-end closing journal entries, financial reports, payroll summaries.

4-Payroll management.

5- Assist in the completion annual or special reporting for shareholder requirement i.e. such as reporting for tax filing or monthly/quarterly board reports.

6-Adhere to and improve internal controls and financial procedures Complete government filings – i.e. EHT, HST, WSIB returns.
