Front End Developer/Engineer

Location: Toronto

Salary: $45k-55k/Year

Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-documented projects and source code
• Development of front-end code using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and LESS / SASS
• Working with design files from Sketch/Figma/Zeplin
• Collaborating to create optimized features based on specifications
• Participate in all aspects of the development cycle; providing ownership & driving projects to completion
• Coordinate and participate in quality control to ensure deliveries are met
• Candidates must be able to work full-time in a collaborative team environment in our downtown Toronto office, with designers, product managers, and the engineering team

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (Credit for an advanced degree in a relevant discipline)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and AngluarJS
• Strong problem solving and programming skills, with the ability to turn high-level goals into creative, efficient, and well documented solutions.
• Aptitude for explaining and translating technical methods and results to a variety of audiences.
• Self management skills and ability to work as part of an adaptive team.
