Job Description


What you’ll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Infrastructure Operations team. You’ll be responsible for providing investigation and second-level support on client issues, technical issues, system/website outages, and questions from all internal and external applications by maintaining, prioritization, and addressing to respective CIBC technology groups and vendors. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the production applications and day-to-day operational activities, managing escalations, and modifying established procedures/approaches to suit specific situations including 24 x 7 support and coordination of recovery efforts.

You can demonstrate strong experience in:
o UNIX, Widows OS
o Windows
o DevOps Methodology & Tools
o Cloud Technology – Azure
o Containers: Caas, Openshift
o Dynatrace
o Autosys/Tidal software scheduling knowledge
o Feedhub – (Axway) – Secure Transport software knowledge

You have expertise in Middleware technology:
– Working knowledge of JBOSS, Weblogic, Iplanet, Autosys and Feedhub
– J2EE Application Servers (IBM Web Sphere, Oracle/BEA, Web Logic, Tomcat)
– Portal Servers (IBM WebSphere, Portal Server)
– WWW servers (Apache, Microsoft IIS)
– Messaging/EAI Middleware (IBM Web Sphere MQ, JMS Infrastructure)
– DMS/CMS Systems (EMC Documentum, open Text)  
– It’s an asset if you have: Programming Skills (Shell scripting, Perl, Java, .NET, AWK, Python. Expertise in database technology (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL). IIS Knowledge
